WESTCOUNTRY FUNERAL SERVICES are an independent,family owned & run business operating out of our Elburton branch in Plymouth & our Fore Street branch in Saltash.
"The Old Smithy" in Elburton is a lovely old stone building with lots of character and we thought it would make an ideal funeral parlour that was much needed in a wonderful
location.
Our Saltash branch in Fore St for many years used to be Evans Hardware Shop and when it closed, we jumped at the opportunity to have a presence on such a busy high street and in such a wonderful town.
Ben, who runs "The Old Smithy" says his aim has always been to provide a genuine, caring and professional service using only the best coffins and equipment sourced from locally, family owned and run businesses where possible.
Westcountry Funeral Services employ professional, highly qualified staff who uphold the companies core values of trying always to do their best for bereaved families at all times.
Because we are not part of a larger combine with expensive corporate headquarters and dozens of highly paid executives, we are able to provide a first class service at reasonable costs.
